Six solar parks totalling 130MW grid connected in the United Kingdom

More than 500,000 modules installed to our ZM2V system

The plants have an overall capacity of around 130 MWp and are located in various locations in the south of England and Wales. Among them is Vinefarm. It is the largest continuous solar project (45 MWp, see cover picture). A total of 222 trucks of mounting structures were delivered to Vine Farm, just 142 articulated trucks of them were loaded with concrete foundations. A close collaboration with the site and logistics managers on site could ensure a smooth completion.

Also in the first quarter of 2016 following solar power plants of the same customers were supplied:

  • Rose & Crown about 30 MWp
  • Mount Farm – 23 MWp
  • Sellindge – 11,2 MWp
  • Carnemough – 10 MWp
  • Lower House – 8,2 MWp

These six plants were built within the last six months. Over half a million modules were installed quickly and safely on our proven two-foot frame ZM2V with 3 modules in portrait mode.

The scheduled commissioning of solar parks in March allows the accreditation of projects for the ROC 1.3 program (Renewables Obligation Certificates) in the UK. With these six newly installed systems, we increased our supplied capacity in Great Britain to over 720 MWp as of March 2016.
