ZIMMERMANN PV-Stahlbau named innovation champion

Let go of the old and dare to try something new:

From 19 June, we will officially be one of the TOP 100 most innovative medium-sized companies in Germany.

In the scientific selection process, we impressed the jury especially in the category “Climate of Innovation”, which is also a clear praise to our entire team and to our partners and customers.

“The Zimmermann PV-Stahlbau GmbH & Co. KG is consistently and consistently focused on innovation. This is particularly evident in the Climate of Innovation, i.e. the creative breeding ground for innovation”. – says Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke, founder and director of the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration.

In this positive innovation climate, numerous innovations and new developments have been able to flourish in recent years. A not inconsiderable part of these innovations is based on the good cooperation with our customers, the regular feedback on our products and the close collaboration in the projects. As a result, we have been able to continuously develop ourselves and thus our products, to push ahead with innovations and now proudly say

“We belong to the TOP 100 most innovative medium-sized companies”.

Our most impressive reference project and also winner of the “pv magazine top innovation” Award 2020 is the largest floating PV plant in Europe – realized with our Zim Float System. The plant is as large as 26 football pitches, consists of 73,000 solar modules, has an output of 27.4 megawatts and supplies 7,500 households.

We are extremely pleased about this award, as it reflects our daily commitment, willingness to innovate and innovation strategy. We evaluate new ideas at an early stage and discuss them with potential customers. In the innovation projects, our employees work largely independently and self-organized. “Important for us is the freedom we give our employees so that they can work out innovations”, Robert Zimmermann, Management Board.

As a significant part of this success, we would like to thank our partners, customers and the entire team.
