Letting go of the old and daring to try something new:
From 19 June, we will officially be listed among the TOP 100 most innovative medium-sized companies in Germany.
In the scientific selection process, we particularly impressed the jury in the category “Innovation Culture”, which is also a clear credit to our entire team and to our partners and customers.
“Zimmermann PV-Stahlbau GmbH & Co. KG is consistently and consequently oriented towards innovation. This is particularly evident in the innovation culture, i.e. the creative work environment in which innovation can flourish”. – says Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke, founder and director of the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration.
In this positive innovation climate, numerous innovations and new devel-opments have been able to prosper in recent years. A not insignificant part of these innovations is based on good cooperation with our customers, regular feedback on our products and close collaboration on our projects. As a result, we have been able to continuously develop ourselves and our products, to push ahead with innovations and can now proudly say:
“We belong to the TOP 100 most innovative medium-sized companies”.
Our most impressive reference project and also winner of the “pv magazine top innovation” Award 2020 is the largest floating PV plant in Europe, which was built using our Zim Float System. The plant is as large as 26 football pitches, consists of 73,000 solar modules, has a capacity of 27.4 megawatts and supplies 7,500 households.
We are extremely pleased about this award, as it reflects our daily commitment, willingness to innovate and innovation strategy. We evaluate new ideas at an early stage and discuss them with potential customers. Within our innovation projects, our employees work largely independently and with a high degree of self-organisation. “Important for us is the freedom we give our employees so that they can work out innovative ideas and solutions”, says Robert Zimmermann, Management Board.
We sincerely thank our partners, customers and the entire team as they form a significant part of this success.
Since 1993, compamedia has been awarding the TOP 100 certificate, recognising special innovative strength and above-average innovation success, to medium-sized companies. Since 2002 the scientific management has been in the hands of Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke.
